Project Name: Withernsea Commercial Boat Compound Landscaping

Organisation: East Riding of Yorkshire Council

To improve the gardens around the outside of the new Withernsea Commercial Fishing Facility. The fishing compound is located on a prominent area of the seafront and this project will make the area more attractive for both residents and visitors; provide information on the local fishing industry and its heritage and make better links between this area and the town centre. The project will build community pride and interest in the local fishing industry. The landscaping will incorporate durable and appropriate planting to its location. It will also include a vertical structure which will reflect the fishing heritage of the area. A member of the Holderness Coast FLAG will be invited onto the steering group for the information board and structure.
